A First in Switzerland: 40 Swiss-Based Leaders Jointly Commit to Gender Equality Goals

Based on a call for action by Advance, 40 Swiss-based leaders presented their goals for gender equality on the International Women’s Day of March 8th 2017. This was celebrated in cooperation with the University of Zurich with a top-class panel. More than 150 guests from business, academia and politics attended and actively discussed. Special Event: Unlock the Power of Digital Girls

On April 28, 2017 Google Switzerland and Plan International are celebrating International Girls in ICT Day to encourage and empower girls and young women to aim high in ICT. This event will showcase strong positive examples of women leaders in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. During the panel discussion moderated by Plan International, these role models will share their experiences, challenges they had to overcome, provide advice and engage in a dialogue with the audience.
